Port to Port

If you want to save on larger shipments of household goods or personal effects, or you are not in such a hurry, V-bag Port to Port service have access to regular sailings from Vietnam providing a cost effective and convenient solution for those larger relocations

• Transported via sea from the nominated departure Sea Port.
• Rates calculated on a per chargeable kilogram or minimum.
• Delivered to the international Sea Port/Container Freight Station (CFS) of your choice.
• DAT – Delivered At Terminal (incoterms 2010).
• No ticket required.
• Sailings departing every 7-10 days.
• For extra flexibility, your items may be sent before or after departure.
• Obligation free fast quote function.
• Pre Alert email issued upon confirmation of uplift.

Please note that all consignments booked to arrival destination airport/port exclude all destination charges, which may include duty/tax, customs clearance/inspection, terminal fees, airline charges, agency fees, local delivery, wharf age, quarantine and agricultural fees (where applicable). ‘Destination Terminal Charges’ for Port to Port service apx $100-$200/cubic meter (cbm). All Shipments are to be customs cleared by consignee at port of discharge before being on-forwarded to final destination. This information is intended as a guide only and may be subject to variation from destination to destination.

Please note that all consignments booked ‘to door’ exclude any duty/tax, customs inspections fee. Quarantine or agricultural fees (where applicable).

Additional service options

Insurance

Airlines will automatically cover your shipment; they have a limited liability of APX USD $20.00/kg between the airport of departure and airport of arrival for loss or damage. Shipping lines offer no such cover. Both shipments are carried on the basis of “shipper’s risk”. Which means it is the responsibility of the ‘Sender’ to insure their shipment for loss or damage.

V-bag can arrange to collect your excess baggage from any location in Vietnam with as little as 24hrs advanced notification.
